… says a Chinese proverb. Especially when organizations are striving for or living through growth, the wind of change blows through the house. The company management often concentrates on the implementation of the growth e.g., through internationalization, merger or takeover, through crowding out competitors or product diversification.
I was able to experience that at the end these are not the central challenges of growth, but the effects of change through growth on all those involved. Employees, management and entrepreneurs are particularly challenged by growth; they can need intensive guidance, orientation and support.
