Performance chaos as of 2025 in your company? Better prepare now for ESG reporting requirements

From 2025, all so-called “large companies” (according to directive 2013/34/EU) will be obliged to prepare, have audited and certified and publish a sustainability report. In Germany alone, over 15,000 companies are affected, which often must document their internal work and their business relationships along the supply chain with completely new disclosure demands. This is more than just a reporting requirement in the appendix to the management report, but almost a paradigm shift throughout the entire organization. Smaller companies are also affected because the larger companies must query and disclose the ESG performance of their suppliers in their mandatory reports. It is high time to address the issue of more sustainable business.

The best way to get started with the topic is to first inform yourself systematically about the opportunities and risks of sustainability management. The two-day seminar at the Burg Warberg Academy, for example, offers companies in the agricultural and food industry a good overview of the challenges ahead on the way to more sustainable business. Professional training helps you to reduce fears and worries about this supposedly big topic and to make plans for preparation. There are still places available for the seminar in German language on October 25th – 26th, 2023, register here.
